Will there be a digital version of the Magic Cards & Battle Maps?
Yes. There will be a digital version of mostly everything that is offered physically, and will be sent together alongside the PDF version of the book.

Will this adventure be added to VTTs like Roll20 or Fantasy Grounds?
The original vision was for me to add them as soon as they were complete, something that was particularly important to me since I play 5e exclusively on VTTs.
It is however difficult for me to promise such a thing since I don’t want to make assurances on things that are beyond my control. Some VTTs have weird rules that prevent you from uploading your work and now with the OGL situation exploding around us, it is hard to tell what the future holds for those websites.
Do know however that I will endeavor to put them up if I can.

How will the OGL changes affect Sands of Doom?
As of the writting of this FAQ, we still don’t have a word on what exactly is happening with the OGL. However if it is as bad as it appears to be, then the book will be finished without an OGL.
What does this mean to you? This just means that things like monster stat sheets will look different than what you are used to, certain sentences that have become standard in the 5e industry will have to be remade (such as rewriting the way I ask for you to make a saving throw), etc. I will strive for write it in such a way that will prevent the need for the license in its entirety.

Which Monster Classes come in which product?
Sands of Doom - Monster Classes: includes the Troll, Earth Elemental, and Gnoll. In addition to the normal amount of lore these classes typically get, you will also have Sands of Doom specific backstory options and ways in which to include your class onto the adventure.
Extra Monster Classes: This includes the Deva, Ghost, Succubus, Dragon, Ogre, Lycanthrope, Vampire, Familiar, and Treant. In the addons sections, there are PDF options that have them separated in groups of 3. But if you buy the Softcover book then you get all 9 together, as well as PDF that has all 9 of them together. The softcover version also comes with extra content in the form of a new subclass for each monster class.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
